partner, Creative Director
Silka loves beautiful things.
After graduating from Pacific Northwest College of Art in Portland, OR and spending a couple of years in NYC, she moved back to her hometown of Dallas and joined the family business; her parents are the owners of El Ranchito and La Calle Doce Restaurants, longtime neighborhood favorites of Oak Cliff. With her husband and partner, Trey Covington, they decided to open this versatile venue to showcase their passion and talent for the culinary arts, floral and design. When she's not at the Tower, you can find her at an estate sale looking for unique tabletop and furniture pieces and hanging out with her baby girl, Nico.

Trey loves food.
With his parents having owned and operated restaurants in Kerrville, TX, he decided to follow the family passion and attend culinary school. After graduating from Texas Culinary Academy, he worked for catering company, Pink Avocado in Austin where he honed his catering and cooking skills working on all types of events. Shortly thereafter he met his lovely wife Silka and moved to Dallas. Being the jack of all trades of Jefferson Tower Events means you can find Trey doing anything from setting up a ceremony site to braising short ribs for an upcoming dinner party. When he's not at the Tower, you can find him cruising around Oak Cliff on his vintage scooters and motorcycles and hanging out with his baby girl, Nico.
